OFFICIAL RULES For Curiosity Quest Contest:
No pledge or purchase is necessary to enter. For eligibility, entries must be electronically filed online at www.KVCR.org OR mailed to Curiosity Quest P.O. Box 1654 Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91729 through the U.S. Postal Service with a postmark on or before June 1, 2008 OR delivered in person to any PFF Bank & Trust branch no later than June 1, 2008. NO LIMIT to number of entries per household. A panel of judges representing KVCR, PFF Bank & Trust and CQ Productions will select the Grand Prize Winner no later than August 2008 from among all eligible entries submitted and received. Decisions of judges are final. The total number of entries received will determine odds of winning. A pledge or contribution does not improve your chances of winning. The Grand Prize winner will receive a $1,000 "Young Savers Account" from PFF Bank & Trust. The winner may choose the type of account they wish. The amount of $1,000 will be subject to IRS and other tax reporting. An IRS Form 1099 will be sent to the winner by January 31, 2009. Taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. The Grand Prize winner, along with up to three additional family members, will also be invited on a Curiosity Quest adventure with program host, Joel Greene and the KVCR/ Curiosity Quest Production crew. Prize is guaranteed to be awarded in accordance with these rules. No substitution of prize permitted. Any prize or prize notification returned as undeliverable will result in the awarding of that prize to an alternate winner. Filming dates are non negotiable. In the event that the prize becomes unavailable due to cancellation of said program series or other unforeseen circumstance, a prize of equal value may be substituted at the sole discretion of PFF Bank & Trust. Winner will be notified by U.S. Mail, email or phone. By acceptance of their prize, winner consents to use of their name, photograph or other likeness for future KVCR, Curiosity Quest and/or PFF Bank & Trust promotions or events without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. Contest open only to residents of California. Employees and immediate family members of KVCR, PFF Bank & Trust and CQ Productions are not eligible. No liability is assumed for lost, late, incomplete, inaccurate, non-delivered or misdirected mail, or any human error that may occur in the receipt of or the processing of entries in this Sweepstakes. KVCR, PFF Bank & Trust and CQ Productions are not responsible for errors in printing, broadcast, satellite or electronic presentation of the Sweepstakes. In the event of printing or other errors, all affected entries shall be null and void and if necessary, new entries will be established and added to the random drawing. If for any reason the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including infection by a computer virus, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of KVCR, PFF Bank & Trust or CQ Productions which corrupt and affect the administration, secrecy, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes, KVCR reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes. Rules are subject to any requirements/limitations imposed by the FCC. By participating, entrants and winners agree to release, indemnify and hold harmless KVCR, its affiliates and/or agents; the San Bernardino Community College District, CQ Productions, and; PFF Bank & Trust, PFF Bancorp Inc, their subsidiary and affiliated companies and the respective directors, officers and employees of the foregoing from and against any and all claims, losses, injuries or damages of any kind, including death, resulting from the acceptance or use of their prize or participation in the contest.
